2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans

The latest update to the Dietary Guidelines for Americans has just been released.  Eating and physical activity patterns that focus on consuming fewer calories, making good food choices and being physically active can help individuals attain a healthy weight and reduce their risk of chronic disease.  Focusing on nutrient dense foods and limiting those foods that contain excess amounts of fat, sodium and added sugar will also promote good health.
